I am 71, and every year it gets harder and harder to adjust to the time change - physically as well as practically. We have dogs, and they expect to be fed at the same time every day, regardless of what the clock says. I prefer that we keep the "real" time all year, but I'd be willing to go to year-round daylight savings time if it means keeping the time where it is all year long. After all, we've shrunk the "real" time - starting later and ending earlier in the year - that it's almost daylight savings time all the time anyway. How can we put an end to this stupid practice? -

It's time to put an end to the time change!! It is such a frustrating disruption when we lose an hour of daylight and it's dark by 6pm. The loss of productivity - trying to complete outdoor work when it's DARK. The loss of time with my children - doing outdoor activities. Here in FL, the winter time is our opportunity to get things done outdoors that it's too HOT to do in the summer time. PLEASE give me my hour of daylight back!!REPORT COMMENTS

Falling back, per turning the the clocks back in the start of winter is Ludicrous! i don't need an hour cut off my work day and added on in the morning! It is cold in the morning, and warmer in true afternoon; why would I want to start work an hour earlier in the cold freezing temp? For the love of all that is holy, let's finally end daylight savings! This is pure hell for small children who suddenly end up with a nap or bedtime (or meal times) an hour ahead or behind schedule. Currently listening to my 2 year old screaming from exhaustion and unable to fall asleep from the disruption to his schedule.
