Please Remove this barbaric practice. We are all civilized now and do not need to participate in a ritual to ensure longer shopping hours. NO ONE SHOPS Anymore, we all do it online now. Also, considering the fact that the biggest shopping events of the year actually happen on Standard time!

I remember when I was young, the day light saving starts. I walked to school in the dark, scared and alone, and I was afraid of some bad guy will come out of the darkness, so I constantly turning around and checked out. As I grow older, I lived in Japan, oh my heaven, no Day light savings. Years ago, I settled in the United States, I am experiencing the chaos caused by the daylight savings. First of all, I forget to change the Clocks, then I walked back and forth to check the correct time, actually there isn’t correct ones because each clock has it’s own times. I have to turn on my computer and checking for the right time. Each time, when the clock has to be set an hour early or an hour back, one of my clock will quit working, not just that, I was late to the doctor’s appointment, late to school, late to work. Our body has a natural clock too, at certain time we wake up and go to bed at night, but after daylight savings time comes, our body being disturbed as well, it has no benefit to the health at all. We all know there is 24 hours in a day, change the clock doesn’t save us time, we do not gain a minute or second. The daylight savings only create problems with already busy enough of daily lives, we don’t gain anything. Therefore, I strongly against it, and wishing the decision makers to end this useless daylight savings. I thank you for your time and decision to put this problem to an end. Best regards, Julia

Daylight Savings time change is difficult for many people. Especially those that have mental illness and do best on a schedule, as well as children of all ages- especially those who are very young. It causes unnecessary stress for families. It has been proven that accident rates go up the week after Daylight Savings as well.

I would ask that we discontinue daylight savings time and remain on Est Standard Time. There is no benefit in today's society and no need for moving of time twice a year. Lets all agree to stop this silly back and forth.

Please stop this senseless changing of the clock twice a year. This is an outdated practice whose time has come and gone. You can change the clock all you want, but it does not make the daylight any longer or shorter; it does however cause sleep problems, accidents and health issues for many. When asked, most people say they do not like this practice. So why are we doing it? it makes no difference in the farmer's day what the clock says. They farm by the light of day or sometimes choose to work at night. What can I do to make this change?

It is an archaic practice to turn the clock back as well as forward during the year. The initial reasoning for doing so has been found to not have the effects it was intended for. Traffic accidents increase, people are groggy for the first week, energy usage increases and more. It needs to stop! Leave it where it is and do not "Spring" forward!

PLEASE STOP this useless act. We might be able to turn back our clocks but not our body clocks. Come up with one time and let it alone. Even if the time is changed 30 minutes. It does not save energy, it only creates havoc in the human body.

Enough of this. It should have been repealed in 1919 if not for a presidential veto. Too late to impeach Woodrow Wilson?

End daylights savings time. There is no reason it needs to be dark at 5pm. There have been studies that show the time change affects health, sleep, awareness, animals. It needs to stop,
