I agree and will keep asking God to help end this monstrosity called Daylight savings time. It has to and will end soon since I am hearing about a representative in the House of Representatives is introducing a bill to end daylight savings time forever and he is getting momentum in this drive. Hope he is successful.REPORT COMMENTS

All of the reasons given for the benefits of DST have pretty much been destroyed. People are happier because of an extra hour of daylight? Really? Don't see much happiness right now and you can mess with the time all you want but the fact remains: there are only so many hours of daylight a day. Period. End this archaic practice or at the very least set it back to the way it was instituted in 1966. Spring forward in April, Fall back in October. As it is we only get 4 months of standard time and the reasoning has been bogus from the beginning. Do the research.REPORT COMMENTS

I've read numerous articals as to why DLST was implemented. It's usage has long past the reasoning behind it. Those who still support the changing our clocks Twice a year have only recently started walking upright!REPORT COMMENTS

The point of moving ahead and back in this day and age make no sense. Technology advances in lighting and energy consumption has far passed this age old ritual. The United States needs to get ahead of the times and stop moving it. Two time zones in the U.S. would serve just fine.REPORT COMMENTS

As an educator, parent, and homesteader... This practice is of no benefit and great detriment. Please, please, let's abolish the abysmal switching of the clocks twice a year. I say cut the difference in half, adjust one last time, a half hour from either end to "meet in the middle, and then just stop. Children and animals don't recognize the clock, and at work, students and staff alike, everyone is "off" for several days every time we have to change the clock in either direction. It is an absurd waste of effort and resources. Please let us end this pointless and harmful tradition.REPORT COMMENTS
