I currently work for the federal government myself, the same one that sets our DST schedule! Most offices there allow flexible scheduling. A substantial portion of us work as early as 6 am ? 2:30 pm or as late as 11 am ? 7:30 pm. So why should our work schedule have to follow the DST schedule set by Congress? I have requested some of my coworkers to take advantage of flexible scheduling to ?spring forward? and ?fall back? whenever they are ready, or not at all if they don?t want to. I call my campaign ?free-market DST.? My ultimate hope is that the government will realize how goofy they are to allow flexible work schedules and at the same time set the start and end dates for DST.REPORT COMMENTS
