This antiquated idea of daylight saving time wrecks havoc with my work and home life schedule. It is torturous to children and there is no scientific evidence there are any benefits, in the contrary, there is proof that energy isn't saved and heart attacks and car accidents increase (just to name a few).REPORT COMMENTS

Dear friends, I wanted to let you know about a new petition I created on We the People, a new feature on WhiteHouse.gov, and ask for your support. Will you add your name to mine? If this petition gets 99,999 signatures by April 12, 2017, the White House will review it and respond! We the People allows anyone to create and sign petitions asking the White House to take action on a range of issues. If a petition gets enough support, the White House will issue an official response. You can view and sign the petition here: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/repeal-us-uniform-time-act-1966-or-amend-energy-policy-act-2005-extended-daylight-saving-year-around Here's some more information about this petition: Repeal the US Uniform Time Act of 1966 or amend the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to extended Daylight Saving, year around. Stop changing the clocks. Can we stay on either Standard or Daylight Savings, year around?REPORT COMMENTS

I must say I do not like Daylight Savings time. I see no benefit to myself or my family and instead we just generally feel bad around the times that the clocks are changed. I for one feel "off" untill DST ends again each Fall. I would please ask that congress pass a law ending once and for all this antiquated practice. Thank you, Randall KrumeiREPORT COMMENTS

Seriously, why the hell does this still exist? Just because we have done something in the past doesn't mean we should keep the tradition going. Is it relevant today?! End this stupid practice!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Daylight savings time has been proven to be unhealthy and hazardous. There are more heart attacks, strokes, more traffic accidents and increased fatigue. No energy is saved, no money saved, so why have it when it's detrimental to the human race? I hate it. Please get rid of it and go back to standard time, which is the natural time. Quit messing with people's minds and bodies. Daylight savings time is unnatural.REPORT COMMENTS

Daylight Saving Time does far more harm than good. How can ANYONE argue the negative impact it has on humans vs. any pretend financial impact on energy usage?? Studies are equally divided as to whether or not we actually see any benefit in terms of energy usage. But overwhelmingly it is an actual FACT that the time change negatively impacts our natural body rhythms and causes more accidents due to lack of sleep and darker mornings.REPORT COMMENTS
