Our family and everyone we know struggles to change their internal clock for this twice yearly change that has no benefit but multiple scientifically shown downfalls. Please end daylight savings time and keep each time zone running smoothly according to the rhythym that out bodies are already used toREPORT COMMENTS

Pick a time standard and stay with it throughout the year. Either DST or Standard time. Mother nature has worked out the best rhythm for optimal performance in all animals; only man is also dictated to by the clock. Switching back and forth between DST and ST only causes more problems physically, mentally, and emotionally. Please decide on one and only one time standard and allow everyone to get back into some kind of normalcy.REPORT COMMENTS

If effects so many adversely. My parents have dementia. And it's horrible for them and many other elderly. My child suffers with GAD and gets insomnia for days after each change. It's ridiculous. Most of the country agrees that it should end!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I would like daylight savings time to end. I've lived in two states where it is not observed and there was less confusion and the amount of lost productivity on the days where the clock would have changed were eliminated.REPORT COMMENTS

Growing up in California I was told that daylight savings was retained to give field workers more time to harvest our crops. This sounded reasonable then, but times have changed dramatically, harvesting has been hastened by equipment processing to some extent, and the added daylight is no longer an issue. Do stop this inane practice and end daylight savings completely, returning us to some form of normalcy as far as time is concerned.REPORT COMMENTS

It is unhealthy to mess with fragile biorhythms. It dulls minds, causes increased accidents, and God knows how it affects school kids being sent in darkness to school. It sure does not save energy in Texas where the evenings are the hottest. It's an added cost. It is detrimental to health. Stop it!REPORT COMMENTS

I know of no one who benefits from changing the clocks twice a year. Maybe someone out there does, but I haven't met them yet. Time changes have been tied to sleep loss, health problems, higher accident rates, so if anyone is benefitting from them it's at the expense of everyone else. Let's end the madness. Set the clocks and leave them alone!REPORT COMMENTS

Please abolish Daylight Savings Time. It does NOT save energy (how can it when you end up using house lights in the morning AND at night because DST causes the mornings to be dark, and we only gain 1 measly hour of dusk in the evenings? It's not until summer's in full swing we start seeing light mornings and evenings, and then those are quickly lost again once we pass the Summer Solstice in June), and really has proven it has no practical purpose whatsoever, except to disrupt our natural wake/sleep cycles and raise havoc with our mental, emotional and physical health. If our ancestors could live, work and die under standard time, I believe we should be allowed the same opportunity. Abolish DST, please!REPORT COMMENTS

I find that the time change has no real benefits to us anymore but to just disrupt our sleep and make us irritated actually , even my poor children find it very disrupting to their sleep patterns and its nothing but a nuisance. Also I've noticed that the time change from fall to spring , I don't know if it's just me seems to have gotten shorter so we are left with a few months of acclimating to that certain time and then here we are switched again to spring forward. Arizona does not participate in this time change anymore and I don't see why the rest of us have to put up with the annoying back-and-forth all the time. I find it rather stressful? We really need to just end this.REPORT COMMENTS
