Four GOP candidates for the White House have pledged to pass religious freedom laws if elected. If these laws pass, what happens to the hundreds of Federal workers who have been forced from their careers by Clinton and Obama's anti-Christian officials? Mrs. Clinton, who has said she hates authentic Christians, directed the purge of 88 GOP workers in the State Department (for instance). Will the US Office of Special Counsel actually handle their cases without prejudice? If that would be true, then why doesn't the Republican Senate and the Republican House simply pass the victim's petitions into law as intended by the 5th clause of the first Amendment and the Congressional Rules already on the books? What does the right to petition for redress of grievances mean to these GOP candidates? More paperwork being generated? Running around in circles for ever until the victims die of old age? Does GOP government simply mean that more laws are added but nothing really happens? Where is justice under the GOP? The previous GOP president did nothing for 8 years to protect the Title 5 US Code rights of civilian government workers from religious attack on the job? I helped draft the 1998 INTERNATIONAL RELIGIOUS FREEDOM ACT and the State Department never issued the rules to implement that law to protect American Christians who needed the help of the State Department...and the GOP did nothing but purge the senator who wrote that law...And the senator who did the heavy lifting to have that law passed was the Chairman of the GOP Policy Committee! If the GOP can't protect their own leaders, what chance is there for the many civilians Federal employees who have been persecuted for their Christian faith? And what happens to those who had no Christian faith that obliged them to do good works but are followers of a secular belief in honesty and integrity which case they obeyed IAW their duty under the US Code to report violations of the Code of Conduct (which also gets some people fired and driven from their careers)? Are good people of all faiths to be protected from persecution or will the GOP ignore them, too? The GOP has a history of passing laws that it subsequently ignores (when it is in power, for instance). Anyone ever heard of the "Anti-Deficiency Act" (passed in 1905) which every GOP president and Congress has ignored since FDR was Emperor (1933-45) even though that law was passed by a solidly GOP government!!!Feb 12th, 2016Someone from Kernersville, NC signed.

If people want to become citizens of the United States, they need to do it through the proper channels like those in the past have done. It is not fair to them to bypass the laws imposed on prior persons who did the right thing.REPORT COMMENTS
