I just read about this and find it very disturbing that these poor creatures are put to sleep after help our cause. There are scores of people who would proudly care for these dogs but are not given the chance to do so. Please reconsider this cruel and unnecessary practice! ! !

I have always heard that Military Intelligence is a oxymoron and if this happening to our brave soldiers and their loyal military dogs, then Congress has no shame! I am so sick of our elected official's lack of common sense and duty to their public. Stop this travesty immediately or perhaps a few ignorant politicians should be euthanized too???

Not even mentionioning how horrible it is to kill a healthy dog for no good reason, from a money stand point, it would be cheaper to bring the dogs home instead of raising and training another puppy to take its place!

This is a disgrace! These wonderful dogs were drafted and gave unconditional service. They deserve the same respect that their human servicemen and women get.

PLEASE pass the bill to change the classification of our military canines so they can be brought back home for adoption. These dogs have saved countless lives so this is the least we can do to repay them for their service to our country.

The heroic animals ARE NOT expendable equipment. Allow our servicemen/women to adopt and bring home now!
