This problem cannot be solved until it is attacked at the source. Stop backyard breeders. They contribute thousands of animals to the problem. The best way to stop, the "unwanted, "un-adoptable" animals, that are euthanized or gassed, because of over-population, is to run a competent no-kill shelter. Spay and neutering, stops the long term solution of over-population, sickness and disease and is cheaper than being gassed (which is cruel and inhumane) or euthanized, These animals or pets, wouldn't be euthanized, if not for neglectful or abusive owners and incompetent animal shelters. Why should the animal be put to death, for a man's inability to control their anger? It makes no sense and is wrong..let's change this with no-kill animal shelters.REPORT COMMENTS
