It breaks my heart seeing 24/7 & 365 days and nights so many animals being abused, mistreated, dumped like garbage at a high kill shelter, beaten, tortured, hanged, stabbed, drowned, burned, starved, no medical treatment given at all, forced to dog fight to death for greed, chained outside at all times no matter the weather conditions, left in cars in extremely hot weather and MURDERED!!!!Jul 20th, 2015Someone from New York, NY signed.

The amount of animals that are tortured and killed in these U S of A is appalling. And do you know only 13 of our States prohibit the killing of dogs for dog meat. You can serve it in the other states!!!! That must change. Taxpayers are finding these kill shelters !! And we are NOT GOING TO DO IT ANY LONGER!!!! It is time THAT OUR PRESIDENT GETS INVOLVED AND WORRIES ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPING IN THIS COUNTRY FOR A CHANGE! WE THE PEOPLE HAVE DECLARED WAR ON ALL ANIMAL ABUSERS! OUR COURT SYSTEM HAS LET US DOWN OVRR AND OVER AGAIN ITS TIME THESE ABUSERS AND CRUELTY MONGERS WERE STOPPED!REPORT COMMENTS

We are tired of animals being killed in shelters. We are tired of being ashamed of the corruption going on in 22 states where bestuality or animal rape is legal and 44 states agree eating dog is fine. Come on. Get with the times. Animal abusers, killers and neglectors are often responsible for child, spousal, elder abuse along with violent crimes. We know the more they harm the more they need to. Puppy mills? When we kill so many each day?REPORT COMMENTS

All animals are living things that are capable of feelings and MUST have the right to live. Now in day There's laws ,funds, programs all for the protection of children from abuse neglect. ANIMALS NEED THE RIGHT TO LIVE AND NEED LAWS TO PROTECT THEIR WELL BEING. IS TIME TO SPEAK UP NOW!!!! For a lot of those pets they serve purpose in everyones like assist our blinded citizens, and therapy for people with depression, the animals life's is not disposable children have rights against abuse. Why should it be any different in animals life. For many pet owners the pet is there kid for many reasons cant adopt or have children anything from a dog, cat, fish, rabbit, bird among others providing everything they need and is only fair that every animal has the right to live a happy life and enjoy.REPORT COMMENTS

we need to begin by respecting life.....all life. animal abuse needs to be taken as seriously as child abuse. to harm a defenseless living breathing being is inhumane. shelters need to adhere to the same laws and rules NO KILL needs to become mandatory.REPORT COMMENTS

First of all, I totally agree with Laurie K. from Willow Spring, NC (below). This whole country should be ashamed of itself. And to me, the requirements for having a dog go MUCH further than food, water, and dog house. A dog deserves to be loved, petted, played with, and exercised. Just tie it up and forget about it? That's outrageous!!!!!!!REPORT COMMENTS
