A reduction in Agents pay will not only affect them and their families, but the whole community economy. It will definitely be reflected on others people's business, thus creating a domino effect and people from private business loosing jobs. Lacking good border protection and security will increase crime rate in all cities thus creating a major burden in local police officers and emergency medical personnel. Please reconsider, since the effects will be feel and reflected in the entire USA.Mar 16th, 2013Someone from Dublin, OH signed.

A 40% pay cut is drastic and will have a MAJOR impact on the hardworking agents within the Border Patrol. This action needs to be seriously re-thought.REPORT COMMENTS

It is ridiculous to get their hours and their pay. We need more border control not less and they need to be paid well. We have volunteer watchers to assist them and it should be every citizen's duty. National Security affects everyone. Border control especially affects those in border states. Make our taxes work for national security or we are giving our nation away at taxpayer expense.REPORT COMMENTS
