I beg of you to please continue to help these lifers have some type of true family visiting again. Spread the word to your friends and family and have them sign this. My best friend is a lifer and I want to marry him if family visits are restored so he can be with someone who loves him and he loves. Having that bond with someone can truly change the anger that these men and women suffer daily. you have stripped them of their freedom, and any type of true contact with someone, yet wonder why there is so much violence on the yards. Give these men and women something to look forward to, a reason to act right and strive to do better.REPORT COMMENTS

Hello my name is Tracy I am engaged to a man who is serving a life sentence in one of California's state prisons. I do believe in my heart some of these men who have life are capable to have a meaningful relationship and some don't deserve it. I do believe that all lifers shouldn't be punished for one man who messed it up for all. I believe the one who does not have no criminal background of domestic violence or crimes against children like a pedophile should not get them. My husband case is far from those two, I tend to get married this year in 2016 and I just want to say my fiancé is innocent and was wrongly convicted he has been in jail for 17 years and I do believe these family visits will help him clear his mind and stay positive and keep out of trouble. I do believe that conjugal visits would help inmates who are serving life and do believe the crime rate will go down. So please consider giving the conjugal visits back to our loved ones.REPORT COMMENTS

I think lifers should have the chance to experience their families love first hand. Have that togetherness to look forward to and enjoy. In turn keeping them out of trouble as there is some kind of privilege they will be granted for not releasing their frustrations in a negative way. With the new sb260 and 261 law many inmates have a new chance at life yet are still being punished in a way that could keep them behind bars for life. The prison system is supposed to be there to rebilitate yet it seems that this rule is designed in a way that makes it hard for inmates to not re offend while inside. Humans should not be judged by the worst act they've commited in their life. There are good people inside who have families that love them and want to spend time with them. Allow family bonding! The results show, taking this privilege away has done no good.REPORT COMMENTS

I believe lifers should get family visits back especially if you fall under that new law SB 260 and SB 261. I believe people really do change. Life is about making choices and just because you choose wrong a time in your life or maybe a few times if you have proven to be a changed person then II truly believe you should be given family visits back. God created man and woman for man and if you have your soulmate and are married then let's give them family visits and stop the families from suffering in so many different ways. Broken homes and broken hearts. Everyone that proves themselves deserves a chance at true love with family.REPORT COMMENTS
