Marijuana is a beautiful plant brought down from god. Many successful people have consumed this plant yet people still discriminate against it. I know people who have got straight A's throughout highschool and have smoked it daily at the same time. Recent studies show it doesnt harm the lungs including with cancer. Why should a healthier natural plant be illegal when alcohol, an addictive substance, is legal.REPORT COMMENTS

i believe this would be a good start to more practically refining drug policy's in America. . however. i do not feel it in the bounds of power that a government should be aloud to control such facets of society. it is not your duty to protect each individual citizen from every potential danger. the fact that this happens is itself an incredibly inefficient method to living prosperously. just as you cannot FORCE someone to be happy, so too is it impossible to FORCE a nation to obey strict laws limiting freedoms which should not be in the domain of the governments power of choices to begin with. while one may be able to pose a strong argument as to why the substance and its use is not beneficial , the fact of the matter is that a human is attempting to exercise power over another human. i believe the way by which some modern laws are comprised severely limits the laws ability to fulfill its innate purpose. while one may argue that the law is in place for the strict protection of an individual, should that individual not desire such help, the help will be taken in such a manner that the degree of benefit to which the individual perceives is lessened from actual value and in its place, fear of the unknown, causes negative repercussions. the laws about such substances should attempt to be balanced by the public's opinion of a given group. this is to say.. they should be worked correctly enough so that the positives, do not becomes canceled by the negative effects. .. telling someone no, is discouragement. when one is discouraged, they seek the strength to have such courage as to deal with something that cannot be changed or change it. should a man be happy to live peacefully in a tent, in the woods, alone, without societal benefits.. and he is happy using a substance.. the criminal is the one who seeks to remove something that causes the removal of his happiness. in religious practices and metaphysical experiences, one may use such a substances to obtain a new way about perceiving existence. the point of this entire additional public comment is, it should not be within the bounds of a national power such as a government, to limit the use of a substance, but for the overall outcome being beneficial for all such involved parties. if they are gonna smoke 7 grams a day, you just cant do anything about it, and you need to learn to understand why. if god's existence is the birth of our creation, and he left our physical presence in a means of preserving us, would it not be suffice to say that we are left with some benefit in his doing so..? for those unappeased by such arguments, could i not just win an argument by saying.. we want it, and the inability for us to aptly acquire it is so debiliREPORT COMMENTS
