Our family has experienced this first hand and it is the most horrific thing we have been through...after my ex son in law was awarded full custody of his children for no reason ( and I would be happy to have you read the decision and transcripts ) obviously by a biased judge we have been fighting parental alienation for 4 years...my daughters life has been irreparably ruined and will never be the same with 4 children she nurtured for over 12 years....It is like mourning the loss of a child who is alive....Please help..Jan 29th, 2015Someone from Wind Gap, PA signed.

It would be nice to see our government officials do something that helps families unite. Many of us love our children and deserve the right to be with our kids to. In the interest or children and equality we should be allowed to be with our kids.REPORT COMMENTS

I am an alienated father with a wife and three little girls (6, 9, and 11) at home who have only seen their big sister once in over a year. Parental Alienation denies a child and their parent the natural right to have a loving relationship but also denies relationships with an entire side of the targeted family. Even more tragic than that, it has long term emotional and psychological effects on the alienated child. Imagine being forced to not only disown one parent whom you have a natural predisposition to love unconditionally by the other parent. Imagine also being forced to lie about the targeted parent. Parental Alienation and denying a child the right to have both loving parents in their life is a recipe for the making of an ill adjusted and troubled life.REPORT COMMENTS

Sadly many states already include provisions for PA in their Best Interest of the Child Standard but the courts pick and choose arbitrarily when to enforce or misapply it in many cases. Either way, attention must be drawn to this act where one parent is allowed the ability to destroy the relationship between a child and their other parent while permanently scarring the child emotionally.REPORT COMMENTS

My 3 children have been purposefully alienated from me, my parents, my sisters and their husbands and my nieces and nephews. They have been taught to hate half of their blood line and miss out on the blessings of extended family. I have no options in fighting for their minds as our current family court system fails to recognize the abuse and control nor will they intervene. Innocent lives have been damaged due to 1 selfish mother.REPORT COMMENTS

My partner Ronald Cornett and & I have been alienated from his two children since their mother and then boyfriend abducted and absconded with them in 1997. He has not seen or been reunited with them since then. They have been taught to fear and hate us. Now, they are having children of their own as they grow up as damaged adults from the abuse they have been tormented with during the past 17 years. Parental Alienation is child abuse and must be stopped.REPORT COMMENTS

Parental alienation is wrong and goes unnoticed! This is not fair for the parent or children. Unless this parental has a harsh criminal background there is no reason for your child to be taken from you. Also there is always 3 sides to every story!REPORT COMMENTS

My ex-husband's father alienated him and his siblings from their mom (& the abuse is still going on, so she has no relationship with her grandchildren, either) by indoctrinating them to believe she was crazy and a burden. My ex-spouse did the same to me, with the help of his 5th wife. As a result, my children and family have suffered greatly while my ex-husband has collected child support from me and has used our daughter for cruel hate. Education against this type of abuse should be available in schools -- not just the corrupt court rooms.REPORT COMMENTS

As an adult who suffered from parental alienation in her childhood, this has to stop. Due to being told my mother didn't love me, want me, and left me at age 3, led me to a variety of dangerous behaviors and relationships. It damages a child for the life, and sometimes everyone around them. My husband is being alienated from his daughters, and the pain it causes all of us is unspeakable. This has to end, and parents who alienate need to charged with criminal offenses against minors. Until there is a punishment for this, it will continue and society will suffer.REPORT COMMENTS

Parent alienation is child abuse. One parent should not be allowed to leave the county and state of the other parent and thus forcibly alienate the other parent. Taking the children out of state without the consent of the other parent prior to a divorce should be unlawful, and no activist judge should be allowed on specious evidence be allowed to grant such alienation.REPORT COMMENTS

It's time that, like some civilized countries, the USA be equipped with a law that REALLY protects the children. It's time also that stakeholders, judges, lawyers, social workers... be trained on these matters...REPORT COMMENTS
