Come on Congressional leaders...do not any of you have the guts and integrity to see that these round ups and slaughter are so wrong??!! I accept that not all humans are as intelligent as others...but for so many to let this horrible mismanagement and mishandling of these horses and burros lives to continue is sheer lunacy and selfishness! Cattle are raised and slaughtered to the point that tons of beef is dumped from carelessness leading to recalls and just plain over producing and stocking in the meat cases! Yet these few horses and burros are targeted...what kind of sense does that make to over raise and produce beef at such greedy levels and not afford the horses and burros the small amount of land in comparison to the cattle that they need to survive where they were first and originally living and roaming in the way GOD intended! Step up and do the right thing and put a humane and God minded plan in effect...not the greedy man minded plan that is not working now except in the case of the wicked, selfish greedy men (and women) who feel they have some great right over all else!REPORT COMMENTS

Put the horses back on their guaranteed range lands. Get the cattle OFF the rangelands. Use my taxes to manage the horses on the ranges---not in stockyards. BLM works for us--not for the cattlemen.REPORT COMMENTS

The roundups of wild horses that the BLM conducts are inhumane. The program of sending America's "protected" wild horses to auctions where they face kill buyers and being sent to slaughter is cruel and inhumane. There is NO justification for sending healthy horses to slaughter, whether it is done directly by the BLM or knowingly through kill buyers. The separation of foals from their mothers is cruel. The breaking up of wild horse families is cruel. Scaring the wild horses through use of helicopters is cruel. Separating herds of wild horses is cruel, especially when the result is the breakup of horse families and herds and leaving some horses alone. EVERY ASPECT OF THE BLM'S management of this program seems to favor cattle owners at the expense of the wild horses. PLEASE DO NOT FUND ROUNDUPS OR HORSE AUCTIONS WHERE HORSES FACE A "THREE STRIKES AND YOU'RE OUT" future.REPORT COMMENTS

I am sick and disgusted with the continued 'permission' given the BLM to do any of what they are doing. BLM does NOT CARE, and yet BLM was assigned by 1971 LAW to "Protect and Manage the Free-roaming Wild Horses and Burros of our country." THAT is the LAW. --- If you spot any "free-roaming" of wild horses going on, let us know.REPORT COMMENTS
