I lived in the high desert of Nevada for ten years. I had up to five herds of mustangs in my yard daily. What the BLM is doing is (a) Illegal, (b) Stupid, (c) Cruel, and (d) Unnecessary. Someone needs to rein them in and prosecute all who have broken the law or helped to break the law by doing nothing. I will be voting ONLY for those willing to do the right thing. LEAVE THE MUSTANGS ALONE AND STOP CATERING TO THE CATTLE INDUSTRY.REPORT COMMENTS

It's time to stop the roundups until there can be a comprehensive review of HMAs and actual horse population counts. That thousands more horses are in sub standard holding pens than living free on the range while millions of cattle graze the land to devastation is completely against what the BLM and Dept of the Interior should be doing to truly MANAGE the land to support the wildlife and species that depend on it.REPORT COMMENTS

Stop wasting our tax dollars abusing our wild horses, killing them, and selling them for meat. America values life, the freedom, the symbol of our west, the symbol of America is our wild mustang. America does not support horse slaughter, horses are not for human consumption they are not bred for food they are companions. Wild horses are good for the land and their freedom is tax free. Our public land is being destroyed by cattle, mining, and should be protected from all and saved for the horses, buffalo, deer, rabbits, birds, bugs, trees and plants.REPORT COMMENTS

What you're (BLM) doing to these poor horses is a travesty. They are a protected species according to the law. You are breaking the law. You are responsible for selling thousands of horses to scum like Mr. Davis which he immediately sent to slaughter. Ranchers do not need all of the land and it is time to put an end to this. We the people are disgusted by our government placing a priority on things that are backed by big money.REPORT COMMENTS

With all the debt this country is in, we certainly don't need to waste money on rounding up wild horses and burros and holding them in pens. As the $1m NAS study suggested, LET THEM BE FREE. Natural selection will cull herds and we will have a less volatile landscape for wildfires as well as the benefit of a great tourist attraction!REPORT COMMENTS

There was worldwide outrage over Cecil the lion, and rightly so. There should be nationwide outrage about the roundup of our wild horses. Millions of taxpayer dollars are spent on these roundup and if you don't think they are inhumane please take the time to watch one. Our wild horses and burros are supposed to be Federally protected, it's about time we did our job.REPORT COMMENTS
