please stop taking our wild horses off their own range!! blm wants us to believe there is not enough food to feed horses but yet they still send so many cattle to take the horses place. makes no sense to me!! leave the horses alone!! they have every right to be there.

There are other ways to properly manage our mustangs and burros. What the blm does should be punishable in any uncorrupt court in America. Please stop putting our wild horses in feedlots and slaughterhouses and replacing them in the wild with cattle.

What BLM is doing is illegal, these horse are supposed to be protected. When the government breaks the law, there is no law. Just a fight for survival

As we prepare to celebrate the holidays our wild horses here in America continue to be hunted down by relentless and unnecessary roundups, in frigid temperatures by BLM helicopters. Upon frozen Earth our National Treasure with their mares and foals are forced to stampede, breaking hooves, legs and hearts. Please rise up today and stop the BLM's violations of: a. Equine humane treatment rights b. Wild Horse Protection Act 1971 c. First amendment rights (wild horse advocates are prevented from observation of BLM roundups, apparently to hide pain and suffering from the public) d. Conflict of Interest (parties benefitting from removal of our wild horses are big oil and large cattle corporations, not the people of America. Interior Sec. Salazar seems to have ties to these corporations and American tax payers are unknowingly funding BLM's costly wild horse tragedy. BLM director Mr. Bob Abbey has assigned himself as key speaker for Pro horse slaughter Summit, Las Vegas, NV 1/3-1/6, rallied by Sue Wallis a strong promoter of reinstating and establishing legalization of horse slaughter here in America.) We cannot wait for the BLM to complete their roundups, or we will see in the extermination of the wild horse, upon a trail of broken hooves and hearts. Please do all within your power to stop the BLM's assault upon our wild horses, see our wild horses into safety, freedom and wellness now, the cost to tax payers would be zero dollars and the gain, the endurance of our great National Treasure, the wild horse. Thank you for your compassionate action, in advance.

I'm asking that you please change the law against the BLM and ask them to please not continue the horse roundouts throughout the country in order to save these precious souls. The horses are not starving in any way, shape or form. They were living happy, successful lives before the BLM intruded on their happy lives. The BLM are in with the cattle ranchers and there is money exchanged here. Please stop their actions to go any further. I ask you from the bottom of my heart to please, please save these beautiful creatures! God is looking down on them and is sad to see that humans are destroying his creatures! Thank you for hearing my request and I thank you for doing something about it. I have also sent my request to the White House, the President and to Mrs. Obama as well. May God bless and Merry Christmas! Rene' Niculescu

End the roundups! NO MORE leasing of these lands to private cattlemen. These lands were set aside specifically for the horses and burros. PROSECUTE those who have abused these beautiful creatures!

These horribly cruel inhumane roundups MUST stop immediately! The public is outraged! The BLM continues to lie to the public with false reasons for, and untrue "facts" about this program. The Wild Horse and Burro program needs to undergo a complete review and unbiased investigation before ONE more horse is removed from their herds and taken off of their rightfully given lands....OUR PUBLIC LANDS. We don't want any more horses forced to run for miles, chased down so cruelly by helicopters in all types of severe weather and conditions, forced into traps and pens, then held neglected, injured and confined in government or private holding facilites. Most of these "gathered" horses will eventually end up being sold and going to slaughter! What type of country would allow such horrendous treatment against our wild horses?? Millions of Americans want our wild horses and burros protected in the manner they were supposed to be by the 1971 law. Stop the funding of the roundups. This program is costing taxpayers MILLIONS of dollars each year! We don't want ANY more of our tax dollars being spent on roundups. This BLM program is a sham of a "management" program and an utter disgrace as to how low our country can stoop to abuse our beloved wild horses.. We should be treating them with the utmost respect for the beautiful national treasures that they are!

Quit wasting our tax dollars and put ALL the wild horses back on the land they came from. The land was set aside for them a long time ago.

Our wild horses deserve to be free and live in peace and safety, presently BLM not only chases down, harms, harasses and removes our wild horses but sends many to slaughter and many others to live out the end of their days separated from families, stripped of their freedom and neglected in cruel pens. We must as a nation do better then this for our National Treasure, the wild horse. I stand with millions of Americans, to say we are not in agreement to deluge any tax dollars to the BLM, because their land and wild horse management has proven to be unsuccessful, painful and deadly to our wild horses and harmful to our land and water ways.
