The issues raised in this bill are very alarming. This appears to open the way for the very foundation of our country to be laid to rest. If you were actually for the people, these dangerous clauses would not be included. I am outraged that even one of you, let alone a majority of you offered support to this bill, first through committee, the floor debate, and passage. What are you thinking? This passed in the Senate of all places, a body whose majority is democrat -- who campaign & political rhetoric claims to be for civil liberties. Apparently, this this untrue. I feel these clauses should be removed. No amount of clarification will totally guarantee that our freedoms will stay in tact. As we have seen with past and current leaders, the scope of powers granted have a wide range of interpretation, one which they can take advantage of if they so choose. -

It is our government's job to uphold our Constitutional rights which were bestowed upon all of as humans and citizens in this country. As outlined by our forefathers who struggled to make a democratic society free and just and separate from England's oppressive rule, we have a freedom of speech that allows us to demonstrate peacefully and openly our views and principles. If the writers of the Constitution were to read this bill, they would be disgusted at the abominable threat to our basic rights, something they were so passionately trying to protect.
