The lack of activity from the Texas Service Center (TSC) in handling simple requests like simple renewals of the I-512L (Advance Parole) is absolutely inexcusable. The I-512L is valid for 1 year, and the TSC is taking greater than 5 months to process renewal requests!!!! That pretty much means that by the time you get your new I-512L, you need to apply for the next one to be reasonably assured that you will be able to travel internationally on a regular basis. Handling of Service Center Requests is just as slow and we keep getting outdated information. There is absolutely NO accountability here at all.REPORT COMMENTS

I am waiting for my OPT EAD card. I am told I can only apply 90 days in advance. Now it is almost 90 days, they told me maximum 180 days.... I have offer waiting for me. I made the plan with the rule of 90 days and my work start date; I trust this "90-day" rule and I haven't requested to speed it up. However, now I am in a difficult situation that I have to wait with no income, and at the risk of losing my job offer.... I wish to know what is the rule that I can rely on....REPORT COMMENTS
