How can this be considered ethical or acceptable in any way? Bears do not have a chance of survival and if humans were treated like this there would be an uproar. This isn't hunting or survival but merely to kill animals. it is cruel, self centered, entitled, and loathsome. Animals are not disposable objects here for the perverse entertainment of people but are living and feeling beings. Please ban bear baiting. This "sport" is no sport at all. It is injurious to both bears and dogs. The bear has relatively little to defend itself with, and it is an activity that shows cruelty of people to animals in our society. For me, personally I find this cruelty very disgraceful and upsetting that this activity is still allowed.
