Pit bulls have served our country, were called babysitter and are great dogs. Check history. If they were called that then what has changed now, people that own them!! Punish the deed not the breed. I use to be one of those people that did not want to be around a pit bull, because I believed what the media said about them. Until my husband brought home a puppy pit bull. I was a little afraid at first but then the pit bull really got my heart. He is now 5 years old and he is the only boy I would ever have. He is the most loving dog you would ever meet. He is my son, my heart, and my world. I will always put my life before his, I will die before I let anything bad happen to him. We as humans, have no right to think we are better then any other creatures, because we are not! We should learn from the animals instead of trying to ban them!!REPORT COMMENTS

I say it time and time again...It's all about Home Training..just like a kid, raise them wrong they do wrong same with an animal. Any animal is capable of being dangerous in their own way, even little dogs! This is so ridiculous and there are so many other REAL ISSUES congress should be worried about! I LOVE MY PIT!
