If all you pro-slaughter people wish to continue to dump your unwanted horses from your breeding programs, and also the horses you ruin by training them too hard at a young age, at the kill sales, than I think licensing, fingerprinting, quotas and fee's should be implemented instead of you being able to dump your horses for FREE at the kill sales. My belief is that we would see the numbers of horses shipped to slaughter drop by 80-90% if people had to pay to dump their horses rather than it being free. And if the kill dealers had to get licensed, fingerprinted, have background checks, have their own Bill of Sale which asks if horses have drugs on-board, and also had to carry liability insurance, I think rather than meet the requirements as other of us business owners are required to do, these people would quit the business. Keep slaughtering horses Sue Wallis and the rest of you racketeers, but be prepared to have to start paying and following new laws and requirements instead of having the FREE RIDE you've all been on far too long. And for Whendie J.--I've been a very successful professional in many areas of the horse industry for 40 years and I have never had to resort to sending horses to slaughter because I either bred for quantity rather than quality and/or have ever ruined a horse either mentally or physically. Maybe if you were a better trainer and/or more competent as a breeder, you wouldn't need slaughter. Either way, you're one of the people who will be targeted and subject to fee's and will have to pay to dump your horses at the kill sales. My guess is you'll either become better at what you do, or you'll get lost-LOSERS!REPORT COMMENTS

The true criminals are not those who seek to earn a living by training and selling horses, but those who would vilify us for doing so.REPORT COMMENTS
