What is occurring in Egypt is not "new" by any means. Worldwide, Christians and Jews are perceived by too many Muslims as both enemies and infidels. As such, they are to be either converted to Islam or destroyed. The Fatah and Hamas constitutions still call for the destruction of Israel (and anyone else who happens to get in the way). The U.N. was silent when the Jordanians destroyed 58 synagogues in the old city of Jerusalem. It remained silent while Jordan systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives, and it remained silent when Jordan enforced apartheid laws preventing Jews from accessing the Temple Mount and the Western Wall (Kotel). It is impossible to continue preaching peaceful co-existence and trying to reconcile differences with people whose sole purpose in life seems to be the elimination of everyone who has a differing belief system. I'm really sad to read such a thing i'm muslim and egyptian , my best friends are christians and i'm glad for that i can insure that there's no war between us we used to live in happines and cooperate always for the greatest good i will till urs a real story during the days of revolution while there was no police , no safe , nothing except the national defense a father of the bigest church in Damietta was afraid , muslums offers him protection , they told him to go inside the churche and they will protect it and him inside he was curious so he asked his assistant to go out and try climbing up the side wall he did that and muslums suspect him wanting to sabotage the churche and arrested him at that time the father go out and tell them to let him go because he asked him to do that to make sure that they protect him thats a real story with thousands thats shows the co-operation and brotherhood between us these stories were documented by media the troubles betwwen us were the simplest one's between brothers please let us live and stop promoting rumors we are one hand , we are egyptiansREPORT COMMENTS
