Three years ago I spent two months in Iraqi Kurdistan and the Kurdish region of Turkey. The Kurds are amazing people; they are incredibly kind and generous. I urge you to do everything we can to help them in the fight again the Islamic State (or ISIL).Aug 30th, 2014Someone from Woodbridge, VA signed.

In the past I've been optimistic about the future of my country and have seen boundless opportunity for my descendants. I've handed down to them the inspiration I received from my parents that I could be what ever I wished with hard work and dedication. This administration, in my opinion has endangered our future opportunities and made me wonder just how much liquid is in that glass. I began to seriously question our nations path beginning with "fast and furious" and ending on the golf course with an apparent lackadaisical concern about a beheading. Two high priority goals are to fight further degradation of the US and repair of the damage already done by this administration. We need help in Iraq to reduce the pain of seeing the fruits of many lives and considerable dollars simply go down the drain. The Kurds are motivated to fight Isil and I would like to see them provided with the means to do so.REPORT COMMENTS

The Kurds in Iraq have shown themselves as real enemies of radical Islamic Fundamentalism and protectors of the rights of religious and ethnic minorities within their area. The are the people who would be dependable US allies and we should support them by any means that we can. I also believe that Congress should support the unification of ALL the Kurds within an independent Kurdistan.REPORT COMMENTS

Congress needs to support the Kurdish Regional Government with heavy arms, ammunition, equipment and training under the FMS system. They have been a steadfast ally of the US since 1990.REPORT COMMENTS
