This is a disgrace of our nation and all those who may need this life-saving medicine.

As a retired RN after nearly three decades of practice it frightens me severely to have far more deaths that could have been averted by a medication that costs less than a quarter. I saw a receipt from Walgreen's earlier this week for an Epi -pen and the cost was $749.99!!!!!! There was insurance, no co-pay therefore the American public just got gouged for the entire amount. For those without insurance or a high co-pay, their risk sadly increases to the point of death. Anaphalactic reactions must be treated IMMEDIATELY and cannot wait until an ambulance arrives or the person is taken to a hospital.

As of yet I don't use or need an Epipen. But if I Ever do need one, I should not have to pay price gouging prices to line the pockets of a greedy person. Where is her "INTEGRITY". It's not always about the money, it's about doing what is right.

I have a son who is allergic to all nuts with one of his allergies being the highest number on the chart. This price increase is unbelievable. This is not an optional medication and I feel that they shouldn't make it harder for us to get.

I'm a mother of a four year old. I suffer from chronic urticaria and go into anaphylactic shock more often than not. This generally occurs when I'm asleep. My Epi pen is something I rely on. With the price increase i don't know how I will be able to afford this even with insurance.

There are children in schools who have families who cannot afford to have an Epi at school. Some of these students have life threatening allergies and need that Epi to potentially save their lives...which is worth more...a life or the money you make from selling Epi pens?

Letting pharmaceutical companies get away with stuff like this is one of the many reasons we don't have affordable health insurance in America. Act like you care!

Ridiculous. Do your job, Congress, and stop this action by a monopolistic corporation.
