These bills will continue to come cause the government is just looking for reasons to create them after each shooting that criminals do, it's just going to make us easier targets for criminals.REPORT COMMENTS

The bills that you are passing will not stop criminals from committing crimes, it will only cause law abiding citizens to loose their rights and ability to obtain guns for protection and sporting.REPORT COMMENTS

What part of " shall not be infringed "do these law makers not understand. Once again they punish law abiding citizens for the actions of those who break the law. I'm not a resident of California but I stand with those who oppose these laws.REPORT COMMENTS

I don't see how stricter gun laws in California will do anything other than violate our second amendment rights. New laws, stricter laws will do nothing because criminals do not follow laws. All you are doing is turning law-abiding, gun owning California residents into criminals. You expect us to turn over 30 round magazines? and this will do what? Do you not see that after the events in Orlando and San Bernardino that all you are doing is making us more vulnerable to attack? Those events are clear examples that these strict laws have done nothing to protect us, as those fire arms were 1)illegally acquired and 2)illegally modified. Do you expect us to rely 100 % on law enforcement protection when the average police response time is 9 minutes? I can be killed in 9 minutes, I can be killed in 2 minutes. Allowing me to stay armed, to carry, to practice my 2nd amendment rights will at least give me a fighting chance until law enforcement arrives...given recent events though, it is hard to tell whether law enforcement is something we can even rely on, specially when a man can so easily be murdered by those sworn to protect him simply because he did not raise his hands fast enough after reaching for his ID as he was instructed to do. These laws are ridiculous, and their passage shows nothing more than how out of touch you are with the opinions of those which you govern.REPORT COMMENTS

Jerry Brown is missing the bigger picture. It's not the guns we should be afraid of, it's the criminals. No criminal in their right mind would register their rifles, nonetheless their ghost guns and imported guns. Let's not make ourselves vulnerable by being defenseless. Criminals will find ammo (lots of it) and guns (all types) regardless of these laws. I assure you it will make it easier for them to take over. Don't put us all in that position, unless your true agenda is for exactly that to happen. What can I say then?REPORT COMMENTS

As a free man, I do not consider my inalienable rights to be contingent upon the actions of non-American terrorists. We get attacked on our home soil, and our rights are taken away because of extremists? Believe me when I say I want safer streets, but I also deserve the right to defend my life and my liberty. I will not abide by these laws because they are unconstitutional.REPORT COMMENTS
