A horse's (or any being's) life and welfare should also not be tied to the economical situation that is gambling. Horse racing is inherently cruel. Two and three-year-old baby horses are forced to run when their bodies are not mature enough to support activity. Many drugs are used on the horses to mask their pain or enhance their running. Eight horses die every week on tracks in the USA. Do you think this is acceptable? I do not.
