I so agree with this message to the Republicans in office, from the top down to our locals. That is the shame the Republican party now flaunts . We are also aware that there is no cliff, and we aren't buying what you are trying to frighten people with. We totally back the President on demanding that the 2% pay taxes on their earnings just like everyone else does, and know that what we earned and paid taxes on for our retirement is already bought and paid for. So no-one has any right to use SS funds in way way. Perhaps everyone in government should also be paid minimum wage, with no health benefits, or time off. Be on call 24/7, and work swing shifts. When no longer in office, no continual paycheck or benefits for you or your families.
