My ex-son in law is a registered sex offender. He also has multipule DUI's. He wasn't allowed to see his teenage daughters for almost two years. He filed motion after motion blaming my daughter for the girls' not wanting to see him. Commissioner Lack charged my daughter several times with contempt. The main reason she was found in comtempt was because she told the girls what their dad had done and was in jail. Although it was on the radio several times and printed in several newspapers. Commissioner Lack also charged her in comtempt because she could not take the girls to counseling because of school activities. He said that counseling was more important than any school activity. My granddaughter's did not like the counselor that they were seeing and did not cooperate with the counselor. Commissioner Lack blamed this on my daughter and found her in comtempt once again. Commission Lack forced the girls to start having visitation with their father unsupervised. My granddaughters were very upset and the visits did not go well at all. After two years of fighting, my ex-son in law wanted their stepdad to adopt them so he wouldn't have to pay child support any longer. Another judge persiding over the case turned it down and now my ex-son in law has no rights to see the girls unless the girls would like to see him. Lack needs to be gone, he has no common sense and is not protecting the children.Mar 14th, 2015Someone from Olympia, WA writes:
I have personal experience with commissioner lack and find his behaviors in court to be insensitive and rash. I am sad that this situation could occur for any parent or child. Truly, it is shameful.REPORT COMMENTS

YES!!!!! Remove him. I have 2 teenage daughters and their father is a convicted sex offender. Their father has been fighting for 2 years to get the girls back in his home. After the girls not having a relationship with their father for 20 months he made the girls go back to his home UNSUPERVISED. After 3 months of the girls going to his home the father gave up because the girls would not speak to him nor come out of their rooms. After 2 years of fighting this numerous contempt charges and threats that the girls would live with a sex offender rather than their mother it is finally over. Commission Lack's a brain needs to go he favor's men and is not ruling in the best interest of the children. Thurston County Family Court is the most disgusting court. It is nothing but the good old boys club deciding how things to go.REPORT COMMENTS

I've had a 10 year very difficult parenting case, by which Judge Wickham had not only granted me sole custody of my children, but put very specific requirements into effect against their father to protect them. Commissioner Lack saw me in court today, stated he did not care about any of my declarations, allowed for my ex husband's attorney to turn in multiple documents, but did not allow me. Although I asked how could I be in contempt of court if his father or his attorney never made contact for arrangements for the visit (my ex husband has never requested a holiday visit in more than 7 years), found me in contempt of court over a visitation that their father never arranged, but stated was in the parenting plan, fined me $2,300 and told me I was wasting his time. I can not afford an attorney, so the only option I had was to request his decision to be reviewed by a Judge, and now have to wait until after the first of the year. I even offered to serve jail time to protect my child from going over state lines and he stated "to bad". I beg for the safety of ALL children in this state:REMOVE COMMISSIONER LACK!. My child is a special needs child who's father has chosen to move out of state and not see him over more than 7 years. Now, I find myself either serving jail time over Christmas, or release him to a harmful man who has stated now that Commissioner Lack has made his decision, I will have to deal with Idaho Courts. Lack allowed my child's abusive father to turn in document mid-hearing, he also was sympathetic with know the same abusive father gave excuses on why he broke the restraining order and refused treatment. He clearly has an agenda against domestic violence victims.REPORT COMMENTS

COMMISSIONER JONATHON LACK has denied protection order for child against being sexually assaulted got another Commissioners signature for protection order that Commissioner Jonathon Lack signed keeping child in other parents care and assigning supervised visitation. then at the last hearing placed the child back with parent where the assault took place agreeing there is an issue but making the child have separate room from assaulter where there is not another room available and said child will have to sleep on couch .REPORT COMMENTS
