Historic preservation is one of the most economically successful enterprises ever undertaken by our Congress and our nation--it needs to continue, supported by the Historic Preservation Fund. And this should be a no-brainer for our President elect, who as a developer has repurposed historic structures. (BTW I did *not* vote for him, but I did my homework on this issue). Withholding HPF monies from State Historic Preservation programs has been exactly the line of attack when Republicans have attempted to destroy the National Historic Preservation Act in the past. This is the clearest present threat to the federal preservation program, and a nationwide industry employing tens of thousands in cultural resource management. Please protect this funding and programs that it enables.REPORT COMMENTS
