Per guidelines in the EEOC law in the United States of America, no one should be discriminated against the NATION in employment elsewhere and so forth for Employment Based permanent resident applications as well.

Dear Senator, As hard-working people, toiling for the betterment of this country and its people, we only wish to be treated with like fairness. We are well educated and highly skilled; holding us back would mean holding back a growing economy that needs our skills and resources. Personally I have been sitting at home for over 2 years when I could have contributed quite a bit to better the current economic situation and that is just because I have to wait 8+ years to get my Green Card. Please, I earnestly request your attention and quick decision on this great bill that will give hope to us and this bright nation.

Having spent a decade in this country, to wait for another 70 years for a green card seems very irrational. People's lives, dreams, aspirations are at stake here.

Currently the immigration system discriminates based on country of birth. A person with lesser qualifications from areas like: east European countries, smaller islands etc gets a GC in 3 - 4 years where as a higher qualified person from India gets a GC in 6 7 years? How is this fair? To add to this the limitations and rules around maintaining one's status is very convoluted with the immigrant at total loss. This is affecting our career growth and we have to be in constant stress. Is this how you treat legal educated immigrants who have studied here, bought homes here, send their kids to school here, pay taxes here! Please be fair.

How many more years should we keep extending our EAD's and AP's(waiting for the green card). Please make amends and reduce the pain of hard working people living/working here legally by processing the applications in queue faster.
