Any man who can even presume to hold American hearts hostage with a threat to murder 30,000 wild horses unless his agency gets money enough to feed them and then once he gets tax payers money goes out and rounds up 12,000 more wild horses needs to be jailed for cruelty to animals. This man is not suitable as our Secretary and must be removed. The BLMs monsterous behavior has reached Americans taxpayers limit of endurance and patience. These horses belong to we the people. The BLM is increasing cattle grazing in the very areas where they are removing so called starving wild horses. How does that figure? God will not bless a country whose leaders are so corrupt. And God is the will of the people no matter how mighty leaders might think they are.Jan 5th, 2010Someone from Monterey, CA signed.

Entrusting the welfare of these magnificent animals into the hands of a cattle rancher is like hiring the fox to guard the henhouse and is not in the best interests of our rapidly vanishing wild free-roaming horses and burros. Please choose someone who is more qualified for this job and who does not have a conflict of interest. The senseless eradication of America's native wildlife such as the bison, wolves and now our wild horses and burros MUST END NOW!REPORT COMMENTS

Mr Salazar your are doing to the wild horses as what your ancestors did to mine. You are weakening the bloodline in hopes that they disappear as your people did mine. You may be able to rid the land of the horses body but you will never rid it of its spirit! Haske Ti Ki Watogla Sukawaka Wana. Long Live the Wild Horse Spirit! Lakota SiouxREPORT COMMENTS

Stop rounding up our wild horses/burros. They wind up in holding facilities which costs us tax payers millions of dollars. Or they end up in slaughter houses. Cattle ranchers and oil companies should not be the only influence.REPORT COMMENTS

Ken Salazar has shown that he has a personal agenda. He is not using good judgement where wilde horses and burros are concerned. He needs to step down and be replaced by someone who is not so obviously predjucied against our wilde burros and mustangs.REPORT COMMENTS
