My son was diagnosed with plagiocephaly as caused by torticollis. We were very lucky to be surrounded by amazing professionals that pointed us in the right direction. My daughter has plagiocephaly due to vision issues, but the risks of issues in the future are still there regardless of the cause. It is sad that several insurances will not cover the price of a cranial remolding helmet as they consider it "cosmetic" where as they would prefer the infant to go under the knife for the correction and pay for the surgery.REPORT COMMENTS
