Blatant conflict of interest, must be disallowed.Oct 22nd, 2012Someone from Simpsonville, SC writes:
Conflict of Interest ~ no one within a party with something to gain should be able to be anywhere near nor involved with voting machine. This is one of the key states in the election and this should not even be a question of controversy~ pull any machines that have ties to the republican or even democratic party~ these should be provided by a third party with no interest to either side.REPORT COMMENTS

This is completely unacceptable. Romney's son needs to be told to completely give up the shares of the voting machine company (and face voter fraud charges as well ) and a Congressional investigation also needs to be made ASAP. Congress please act now.REPORT COMMENTS

I would add that looking into ALL ownership of said machines is crucial. After all, they are owned indirectly by the Romneys and their cronies, in general, but worst of all, many "malfunctioned" in other elections!REPORT COMMENTS

Our democracy is dependent on accurate tamper proof voting machines that are monitored at every step by both parties and have paper backup. The mere appearance of a conflict of interest jeopardizes our system of government. The use of the machines, their ownership, their hardware and software design should be public knowledge. Their ownership by a particular party member, candidate or their family represents a severe conflict of interest which should not be tolerated. Without accurate tamper proof voting machines there can be no democracy.REPORT COMMENTS

If he's going to own machines...he should own them in MO, where it will fall Republican anyway. (In spite of me). But how could this have gotten this far?REPORT COMMENTS
