Amalgam fillings need to be BANNED. The United States Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) response to the FDA wanting to issue some restrictions on mercury's exposure to the most vulnerable populations was, "It would be too expensive to use fillings other than amalgam." The nation can not afford the costs of continued diseases related to mercury exposure. It is too much for people to bear in pain and suffering and it is too much for the health care costs to bear. Disclosure of what is being put in by dentists is very important and information needs to be given before so research can be done by patient.
