Let me clarify, I think that the nickel in the ESSURE may be interacting with the mercury inside a woman's body and creating health problems. Anyone who has any kind of health issue should assess their exposure to mercury throughout their lifetime; mercury is bioaccumulative.REPORT COMMENTS

I got Essure in 2009 when I was 22. Since Essure I had extreme pain and extreme fatigue with many other symptoms. Now at 28 almost six weeks ago I had to get a full hysterectomy leaving only my overies. I am already getting my energy back and not in extreme pain that I have lived with for the past six years after Essure was removed. It is outrageous that we have allowed Essure to stay on the market to do harm to many women. My husband is a Marine Disabled Veteran and this is not what he fought to protect. Complete disappointment in the company who is more worried about profit than womens safety.REPORT COMMENTS

Since Essure, I've had many issues and constantly thought what is wrong with me? I sleep alot, deal with pain everyday including hip and leg pain, headaches and YES it affects your life.
