To end the governments debt to tax intake ratio, I believe full legalization is the only answer for most city, state, and federal governments. Just think of all the tax money and what good it will be for our community! Also, it will make for a healthy America... considering weed is safer than smoking cigs and drinking.REPORT COMMENTS

I think weed period should be legalized and taxed and what not just like they do with alcohol. Marijuana has all kinds of purposes. For example it helps with anxiety, depression, cancer, seizures, panic attacks. Screw medical marijuana! Just legalize it all.REPORT COMMENTS

The people have the power to right what the government has wronged. We create these injustices by allowing them to occur and continue to allow what is clearly impacting us negatively. It's time to step out of our bubble and open our eyes to everything we've given up by accepting, instead of contributing. I urge everyone to inform one other person about uniting and getting back our freedom to choose what's right for us. The only authority they have is what we give them. WE CONTROL THE GOVERNMENT. THEY WILL NOT DECIDE FOR US.REPORT COMMENTS

"Penalties against possession of a drug should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself; and where they are, they should be changed. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against possession of marihuana in private for personal use... Therefore, I support legislation amending Federal law to eliminate all Federal criminal penalties for the possession of up to one ounce [28g] of marihuana." My concern with this petition is the portion permitted per month I personally smoke 7 grams a week also permitted use should be treated as alcohol not at schools not while driving and not in public as far as age goes I think again it should be treated as alcohol and purchased at the age of 21REPORT COMMENTS

I have never smoked marijuana myself, but i know several people that have. and i see no difference than drinking alcohol. in fact they tend to be better composed than when drunk. From a financial stand point i do belive that legalizing marijuana would have several benifits. And most importantly i belive that the crime rate and illegal transportation and unnecessary deaths of people having to get "dealers" would be greatly reduced.REPORT COMMENTS
