I know those who represent my district in Texas are voting against this. However, that is NOT enough! We expect you to be highly vocal on this. We want to hear you speak out against it on the news!! Health Care is badly in need of reform, but NOT LIKE THIS!!! -

We don't want it and don't need it. Here's the real solution: 1) Limit malpractice damage judgements to actual economic loss, and reduce the lawyer cut to 5-10%. 2) Allow sales of insurance policies across state lines 3) strengthen HSAs and make them an attractive alternative to employer provided insurance by making premiums paid for HSA plans fully tax deductible to the indivudual and small self-employed businessesREPORT COMMENTS

Government has a proven track record of complicating everything they touch! We DO NOT NEED a government run health care system. It is not the place of the federal government to ensure anyone has health insurance. Look at the fiascoes of welfare medicare and Social Security! NO!!!!!!!!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

In the state of WI we already have a health care program - Badger Care. If people truly need health care I would think that most states already have something in place. Which leads me to believe that if the state programs are working for people that need insurance we don't need a federal program. So, does this mean the state programs don't work? Why not fix those before imposing such an expensive not very well thought out program! The last thing I want is for the government to tell me when and what type of treatment I can have. Having just been diagnosed with breast cancer last fall I can't even imagine what type of health care I would have received through the federal governement's plan!! Maybe they would have said that I was to old to have treatment (40) and sent me to pasture.REPORT COMMENTS

If the health care proposal is so good and will save so much money, then the tax payers should benefit by having all members of Congress, all other elected officials, and all Federal, State, and Local civil service employes MANDATED to use the "public option." If it isn't good enough for them, then it isn't good enough for the taxpayers and voters.REPORT COMMENTS

this bill is about screwing he working class and giving handouts to people who dont want to work or produce for this country. You cant make a purse out of a pigs ear. No matter what liberal democrats do, no matter how much they take away from income tax paying citizens to give it to non income tax paying citizens the non income tax paying citizens still wont work and will more than ever be looking for free handouts. This is discrimination of the worst kind by giving handouts to keep people right where they are so that they can be controlled. The people living off the system and want to be supported by the systam are slaves to the system. The fewer choices a human has the less freedom said human has. This once great country is being detroyed from within buy the democrats who have lost the vision of the american dream. sad times.REPORT COMMENTS
