We simply cannot allow passage of a 1000+ page piece of legislation under the cover of darkness and without an open and honest public debate. I for one do not want to put my health care under the control of the Federal government.REPORT COMMENTS

This rush to sign something you have not even read or discussed with your full constituency is a complete abandonment of your responsibility and the trust placed in you as elected officials. It is very clear from all of the hidden special interest expenditures built into the stimulus and the lack of any true economic recovery that has resulted that this congress is not capable of good performance under the gun. 2010 is around the corner and I vote every election.REPORT COMMENTS

Please stop this bill. We are not in favor of this plan. It is dictatorship - Once in effect, if you have grp ins and loose your job you will not be allowed to join any private insurance company See page 16. Where is my right to choose, Government can't sell stamps much less take care of our health. Obama wants to weed out the old and the sick.REPORT COMMENTS

We don't need a bill dropped on Congress at three a.m. in the morning and then ram it through a vote at five p.m. Most of the Congressmen didn't even read it let alone know what their constituents think about it. What happened to voting for or against a bill according to what your home district voters want. We don't want you voting for what you think is best for us, go back to your districts and listen to your voters, take their phone calls. That didn't happen on the day cap and trade was passed. I called for hours, I got a busy signal. When I finally got through there was no answer. It is time that our leaders start listening to the American People, instead of special interest groups. The American People are getting very angry and 2010 is just around the corner.REPORT COMMENTS
