It is imperative that military personnel who engage in animal abuse be held accountable. If the engaged in similar conduct as civilians in the U.S. and were caught, they would be prosecuted. As military men and women, they are held to a higher standard of conduct and they failed, miserably. Their actions were despicable! To think some of our U.S. Military troops are responsible is mind-boggling, revolting & a DISGRACE and DISHONOR to the Uniform and us American Citizens. Our U.S. Government in Washington, DC & Military authorities should hold these military personnel accountable & strongly sanction them, and put forth policies & procedures that this will not be tolerated and/or condoned. I as an American Citizen am GREATLY offended by these acts, which makes me feel not so PROUND of our U.S. Military troops as I once did. Any military personnel who would do this is definitely NOT the type of person I WANT and FEEL PROUD to have representing me & the USA.
