We must make our voices heard. Without animal advocates, rescues, and volunteers there would be so many more than 4-5 million animals killed in a broken shelter system every year. We can only save so many animals by sharing, crossposting, and rescuing. We must speak up for the sake of the animals. Vote for the politicians that care about the animals and let's bring about change. Blaming the irresponsible public for contributing to the problem isn't going to stop the killing. Until the laws are changed, the killing will continue. We must push for TNR, low cost/free spay and neuter, and spread the word to animal controls across the country that we expect them to do their job and work towards becoming "No Kill". We will not tolerate animal abuse, neglect and the killing of our beautiful animals. Our tax dollars are being used to fund animal controls and we should have a voice about what happens to the animals. Please join me and all the wonderful animal advocates that demand change.
