The reason they want to cut Social Security is so that they can also wipe out that 2.7 Trillion surplus which automatically cuts the debt of the US by 2.7 Trillion. This way they lowered the national debt, SEE the facts.REPORT COMMENTS

Throughout its 75 year history, Social Security has provided critical economic security to millions of retirees, families, children and the disabled. Social Security is paid for by the dedicated contributions of workers and their employers, has administrative costs of less than one percent, and since it cannot borrow to fund its operations, Social Security does not contribute to the deficit. I am instructing my elected officials, and the President of the United States, to keep hands off of my Social Security and Medicare benefits that I have paid for out of every paycheck for decades. They are not "entitlements", we paid for them!REPORT COMMENTS

Why is it the working class has to carry the brunt of the problems for the country. Why not the rich for a change or better the rich and the government and state and representatives carry the brunt of our problems, which I think is more the result of their poor problem solving skillsREPORT COMMENTS
