Start taking care of the needs of the American People; instead of the Millionaires of America.

If you insist on dealing with entitlements then you need to deal with the costs of all your own perks (you voted for yourselves without our permission) paid for by taxpayers and cut those back. Those ARE entitlements! You need to deal with huge subsidies given to large, successful corporations making profits in the hundreds of billions of dollars. Those ARE entitlements! But you need to KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF our Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid because those are NOT entitlements! They are paid for with OUR money we put in and it's not for you to "play shell games" with or to even bring up as entitlements- they do not fit the definition. And they have NEVER added so much as a cent to the deficit.

Your tax-payer pensions should be taken away to help pay back Social Security for the money Congress has stolen from the trust!

Social Security, we well know, is solvent and would be more so if the feds would pay back the money borrowed by Pres. Bush II. It provides a retirement income to hard-working people that is open and public. Privatization is not in the public interest. People who wish to do so can open IRAs, many have 401(k)s, but Social Security is vital for millions of people. We won't stand for your taking that security away.

Please don't give away what we worked hard for all our lives. The GOP won't be happy til they strip us bare. We don't deserve that! Thank you!

We worked for this; it is ours, not yours to be played with and experimented on. Take care of your own house before taking over ours.

We the People know that Social Security is not part of the DEFICIT, and Affordable Health Care Act will take care of Medicare. SO KEEP CONGRESS AWAY FROM THESE PROGRAMS THAT WE PAY FOR. Thank you.

Social Security is NOT an entitlement. The Republicans have borrowed and borrowed from that fund. The Debt ceiling is bills that Congress have already issued and need to be paid. We will not stand for ANY cuts to entitlements.

Need to pay back the Social Security Loans over the years and the program will be extremely healthy again for those that paid into it.

PLEASE do not take away my $1200 a month or my Medicare. I am already paying nearly $300 of that amount for a supplement;..and then there is rent, utilities, food, and gas for my 12 yr old car. How much less do you think I can live on?? Oh, yes, and just FYI: I raised three children without the help of any welfare, and paid into SS my entire adult life, part of the time as a small business owner, so I paid both portions. Take pay and benefit cuts from the DO NOTHING House of Reps first, because seniors are not getting ENTITLEMENTS but rather money we paid in and are ENTITLED TO... There is a difference. WE are not running up the debt, and every your Worshiped Ronald Reagen said SS and Medicare have NOTHING to do with the debt; they are self sufficient. When Congress sacrifices, the rest who can afford it will be more willing, too.
