Our Soldiers are the reason I have the right to sign this petition. They should have the right to have free internet usage where ever they go to beable to keep in contact with family and friends. If the Goverment can provide the prison system's with free access for the criminal, then the Goverment SHOULD do the same for the men and women who defend our rights. Thank you to ALL our men and women who Have, Are and Will serve this wonderful country.May 2nd, 2010Someone from Ocklawaha, FL writes:
The Government has it's own satellites up there that could take care of providing internet service to our deployed men and women. While in the navy we had internet service while deployed. We where just limited on time due to units in the group.REPORT COMMENTS

For everything that our men and women do in the service of our country, giving them ALL free internet service is the very LEAST we could and should do for them, they put their lives on the line everyday !!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I think providing free internet access is the least we should do. My husband is a retired veteran and I remember what it is like to wait for a letter. With the technology we have today, we sould take care of our men and women and make sure each one haas free access while they are deployed in a war zone.REPORT COMMENTS

I have spent over a year deployed and think that it would be good for troop morale not having to pay ridiculous sums of money to keep in contact with family members while deployed. The MWR's provide a crowded and limited amount of time to soldiers and i feel it is inadequateREPORT COMMENTS

The US government should be embarrassed for making our troops pay for internet connections. they fund so many useless other things and countries, and dont help out our own soldiers fighting for them. its insane.REPORT COMMENTS

A vital part of high troop morale is communication with family. This action is good for the troops, families, and the country as a whole.REPORT COMMENTS
