This great country of ours spends millions of dollars on frivilous ventures, but sends our troops to foreign countries without means to contact their families... it's time for our country to step up and take care of the very people who defend our country.REPORT COMMENTS

Utter outrage. Our men and woman are over there protecting our freedom away from the very people they love the most and their only source for communication cost them 100 or more a month. Outrage !!REPORT COMMENTS

If the government is able to continuously bail out banks, why are they going to even consider trying to take communications away from the troops to their families? I've heard stories of troops in Iraq that don't even have the equipment & supplies they need to do the job they've been sent to do...now they want to cut FREE communications to their families back home? This is so wrong, in so many ways. The government wants to bring in these young soldiers, give them low pay to begin with, and want to take away another $100???? What is wrong with our government? Obama, wake up and do something RIGHT for a change! Don't make these families go through anymore hell than they already do.REPORT COMMENTS

It is a travesty to ask our service men and women to serve in a war zone for extended time and then charge them exorbitant fees to access the internet. Whether for support of family and friends or for educational purposes, the internet should be freely accessible to these brave service members who already give more than their share for our communal benefit!REPORT COMMENTS
