They are paying more overseas than they do in the US for significantly worse internet quality. Internet is the easiest way to keep in touch with the family from so far away. Soldiers DESERVE to have free internet.Feb 13th, 2011Someone from Shawnee, KS signed.

It would raise the morale of troops and families world-wide and I think it's high time we put pur trillion dollar military budget to better use and get these soldiers free inet access to their own computers.REPORT COMMENTS

Our service members may receive a small amount of extra money while deployed but considering that money is for putting their lives in harms way and protecting our way of life on the home front; does NOT justify being taken advantage of. Aren't the soldiers making enough sacrifices for everyone in this country? Why should these men and women (and families) be forced to spend hard earned money to be able to keep in touch with their families! The money (not as good as it should be) should be used to help eliminate any debt, help create a better lifestyle, or even splurge on a vacation to spend time with their families upon their return. Shouldn't they be able to spend the money to celebrate coming home alive!REPORT COMMENTS

This is awful in this day and age, with the military's insane budget, that you don't give soldiers this. I want to talk to my husband more often. The internet isn't a luxury any more. Fix this now.REPORT COMMENTS
