Deployments are hard enough on military families, but making the military personnel pay for internet access is even worse. They should not have to pay to be able to have internet chats with family back home.

My soldier is currently deployed while I am at home trying to plan our wedding, and it would be so much better if I could talk to my hero about wedding plans and compare notes so he could feel a part of the planning without having to worry about whether or not we could afford to pay for the communication necessary to make it feel like his day too. These men and women are doing their duty to this country, now it is time for our country to do its duty to them and give them access to the reminders of what they are fighting for without them having to pay for that too. They are already sacrificing enough!

Our Soldiers deserve to have free access to communicate with their loved ones. Internet overseas is not readily accessible to our loved ones. It is expensive individually and the lines to get on are long. Soldiers are deployed so often these days that the toll on them is enough and it is an added hardship on them not have more access to their loved ones thru just an up lifting email to make their long day a little bit easier when they are so far away.

They're fighting for our freedom, the least we can do is allow them to talk to their families for free.
