I believe the deployed soldiers deserve free internet and phone calls home. My brother is currently deployed overseas and we dont get to talk to him much online or hear his voice. And for him to get online to use the internet or the telephone there is very long lines. Please consider doing this for our soldiers. If it wasnt for them we would have no freedom! God Bless the USA and our TROOPS!!REPORT COMMENTS

Please give free internet to all U.S. Soldiers so they can feel connected to the one's they love so dearly. For some, it is their Saving Grace and others it's therapy. In the long run Internet Therapy could save the government some money. My hope is my son- in- law comes home feeling connected to his wife and family and doesn't need hours/days of therapy. Thank you, RobinREPORT COMMENTS

my son is currently in Iraq and has to pay for internet @ $65.00 a month and it works half the time. Please give Free internet to all military personell stationed in the far away places of the world so that they can enjoy their families on special days such as their children opening gifts on christmas morning or to see a parent that is sick and dying. Please honor our service members with this small touch of home. Thank youREPORT COMMENTS

Are you serious? I just learned of this today. My niece has been going crazy not being able to talk to her husband since he got there at the beginning of this month. They are over there fighting in a war that has absolutely nothing to do with America, but yet they are expected to pay to contact their loved ones. This is absolutely insane. President Obama - you need to do something about this... it is not fair!REPORT COMMENTS

have a friend at work whose grandson is in Irac right now and is paying 69.99 a month i say why is this. The soldiers should not have to pay for the internet service because they are fighting our freedom. Please make a law that states that Sodiers who are fighting over seas need not pay for internet services.....REPORT COMMENTS

i find it very hard to believe the military cannot give free internet to the soldiers over seas. this is the only true way they can stay in contact with their families. constant disconnects and such make it hard for both soldiers and families to deal with whats going on. for a sildier to pay for internet service or cell phones while active duty is ridiculous. plus not only do they pay for it, but pay way more than what its worth. for shame. for shameREPORT COMMENTS

I have family members serving the war in Afghanistan right now and they have no stable way of communicating with their family. The phone and internet service they use to communicate is always being interrupted. Please consider giving our soldiers free internet and phone service so they have a way of keeping in touch with their loved ones. It will also help to boost their moral which will allow them to perform better in the line of duty. At the very least they deserve to be able to talk with their family and friends via the internet and phone.REPORT COMMENTS
