we are in desperate need along with many other people. we are living on my disability of 1200 per month. by the time we pay bills and get some of my wife's needed diabetic needs and a few groceries we do not have monies left for car payments. most people do not know that they can get a tax write off when they go to file their income taxes. if this was made known it mite help help people to donate their un needed cars.REPORT COMMENTS

Many people need vehicles not only to help themselves, but also family members with disabilities. In far too many communities, public transportation is either non-existent or woefully inadequate. Nobody asks to be disabled. We do ask, however, to be able to get to and from work, go to the doctor as needed--and to be as independent and productive as we can be. And in this society, having a reliable vehicle would be a trememdous help--so we can help ourselves get our lives back. Being better able to get out there and be more productive will, no doubt, be a crucial step in helping get the economy back on track.REPORT COMMENTS
