The DOS and USCIS should expedite the I-604 investigations for the "pipeline families". This is an instance where the implementation of US government policy, as presented by the agencies in question, has adversely impacted not only their own citizens, but also Nepalese children still living in institutions. Please allow these families to reach a timely resolution of their adoptions. At the very least, the best interests of the children demands immediate action.REPORT COMMENTS

Regardless of our Government's reasons for not issuing visas, I feel that the families who have gone through so much, and are trying to make a positive difference, should be "grandfathered" in and given visas immediately. To stop their process this far into such an ordeal is not right. Not only have the parents gone through so much, but ARK is right, those children have begun to bond and it would be psychologically devastating to them to disrupt that- having more negative impact than you may imagine.REPORT COMMENTS
